OAM Sports Academy hope to send 16 young footballers from township communities in George, South Africa to Northern Ireland in September 2010.
The tour is an huge opportunity for our young players to develop and mature, experience a different culture and get to fulfill their dream of flying to another country. We hope to create lasting relationships with other teams and schools and to expose the work of Out of Africa Missions to the Northern Irish community. Contact Sports Academy to get involved.
One of our biggest ongoing needs is transport especially within our Sports Academy. Simply put with more transport we could do so much more. At present we are forced to use four different vehicles to scurry around picking up our Life Academy and Sports Academy students. Our dream is to have two 20 seater people carriers and one 10 seater mini-bus. Please would you consider donating funds towards covering that cost?
Another option is to look into joining our fund-raising Southward Bound trip.
