Coming from a difficult background herself, it has always been her dream to provide a home for children who do not have parents that can love, care and support their needs to become strong individuals. Both the mothers and fathers of the children she’s looking after passed away when they were still very young. Sarah’s foundation for her family is Christ and this has made her the type of person she is today. The has taught all these children to live for Christ and to commit their lives to him.
At night she had to sleep under a table on the kithcen floor and she only received R2 per week for all the work done. At the end of the week her father would take that money and she would not receive a cent. She never had the opportunity for education herself.
Janesty Matola was born on the 27th of December 1981. She is mentally disabled and cannot provide for herself. Despite her disability, Jenesty is involved in the church as a Sunday
School teacher. She loves singing and helping where
she can. Jenesty has been with the Louw family for 14 years.
Juleika is actively involved in the Junior Youth, Baptist Angels choir and
the Sunday school. She has been with the family for 9 years.
Lewelln Matola was born on the 22nd of September 1992 and currently a student at Conville Primary School. This boy loves his rugby and is also actively involved in the
Junior Youth, Baptist Angels choir and the Sunday school.
Lewellyn has been with the family since the age of 4.
He as been with the Louw family since the age of 4 which means this is his 8th year as part of the family.
Daniel Matola was born on the 9th of October 1995. This student from Conville Primary school enjoys playing cricket, being involved in the Junior Youth, the Baptist Angels choir and the Sunday school. For 7 years Daniel has been a member of the Louw family.
Katie has been with the family for 8 years.
Last year, at the age of 23, Jeremiah, the brother of Jenesty, passed away. He has been with the family for 13 years and despite of his disabilities, he has made an impact in all of their lives. The family has suffered a huge loss due to his death but has stood together in order to be a shoulder for each other to cry on. |
